As one of the members of ANGPTL family, it is confirmed that ANGPTL4 both has a tumorpromoting and tumorinhibiting effect on digestive system neoplasms in recent years. This dual role may be related to its involvement in regulating different tumor signaling pathways. ANGPTL4 is expected to be a new target for diagnosis and treatment of digestive system neoplasms.
